Alexandru-Ioan STAN is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, within the Business Information Systems department at Babes-Bolyai Univer-sity of Cluj-Napoca. He holds a Ph.D. from the same university. His research is oriented to-wards the applications of computational finance. He is also interested in parallel and distribut-ed computing.
