Víctor M. ALBORNOZ received the BSc and MSc in Math from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) in 1989 and 1993, respectively and he holds a Ph.D. in Engineering also from PUC in 1998. Currently, he is an Assistance Professor at the Industrial Engineering Department of The Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (USM) in Santiago de Chile. He is the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching prize from USM in 2006, 2007, 2088, 2009 and 2011. He is author of more than 15 journal articles and over 60 conference proceeding papers in the field of Operations Research and his work focuses on operations management and stochastic programming. | |
