Bogdan OANCEA has graduated the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest in 1991 and the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, Bucharest University of Economics in 1998. He holds a PhD diploma in “Cybernetics and Statistics” from 2001 and has a remarkable didactic and research activity since 1991. Currently, he is full Professor of Economic Informatics at the Artifex University. He is the author of 7 books in the field of computer science and an impressive number of articles. He was also project director or member in many important research projects. His research interests include parallel algorithms for matrix computations, parallel algorithms in econometrics, operating systems, GPU computing.
